Cox
Design Partnership was launched in 2005 by Michelle and Steve Cox of
Boulder, Colorado. Both Michelle and Steve possess an
entrepreneurial spirit and feel fortunate to live in a community that
supports creativity and the development of new businesses. Their
main goal through Cox Design Partnership is to provide excellent Design
services that will have a positive impact on both commercial and
residential interior environments and the lives that those environments
touch.
Michelle Cox has a Bachelor of Art in Interior Design and over 11 years of experience in the Interior Design industry. She has provided Interior Design and Project Management services to a wide range of corporate and residential end users in both California and Colorado. In addition to her Design experience, she has represented two of the world’s largest contract furniture manufactures and has an extensive understanding of hundreds of smaller but significant furniture lines. She has a passion and appreciation for good Design and its impact on the built environment.
Steve Cox is a University of Colorado graduate and an accomplished businessman. In the 1990’s he founded Idealogy, a Boulder based startup that provided services to customers such as Apple, Intel, Cisco and Ball Aerospace. Steve has a penchant for building businesses and has assisted many startups with their initial strategy and success. He lends valuable technical support, offers general counsel and brings his wide range of business experience to Cox Design Partnership.
Both originally from California, Michelle and Steve now make their home in Boulder, CO. Boulder has been home to Steve for 25 years and to Michelle for over 5 years. They share their home with Rosie, their 5 year old Weimaraner, and Jax, their 4 year old feline. Both of their “kids” are full of personality and offer special companionship. Michelle and Steve are blessed to have wonderful family and a fantastic circle of friends that fill their lives. Like many Coloradans, they enjoy the great outdoors and all the cycling, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing and backpacking that it has to offer.
